Built by a service electrician who needed a better pricing system
The Problem
For over 20 years, I worked as an electrical service contractor. As soon as I started hiring technicians, pricing became inconsistent, outdated, and hard to control. What worked as a one-man shop didn't work once the business started growing.
During the pandemic, material prices changed rapidly. I discovered I was losing over $1.50 per foot on 6/3 Romex without realizing it. Tariffs, supply chain issues, and outdated price lists made it nearly impossible to keep pricing accurate.
At the time, my list had about 700 items. To update prices, I was walking the aisles of Home Depot, calculating cost, markup, and tax by hand — item by item. I also noticed that big box stores were often more competitive than warehouses for service materials.

The Solution
After years of testing and refining, I partnered with my brother Hunter to build AccuPrice — a pricing system designed specifically for service electricians and their teams.
Today, AccuPrice tracks close to 1,200 products, works with your existing CRM, and supports flat-rate, time & materials, or blended pricing.
AccuPrice launched in 2024 as an independent company with a simple goal:
